Swimming

Ryan had a day off last week so we decided to take the kids swimming since it had been in the high 90's this week. I was a wimp and wouldn't get in because despite the extremely hot weather the water was still freezing! (And it doesn't help being five months pregnant) But as you can see from the pictures the kids absolutely loved it.

We gotta make a habit of swimming in the afternoon because we had great results as far as nap time goes. By the time we got home and bathed them we couldn't even get them to stay awake for lunch.
Madison fell asleep on the table anxiously awaiting her long anticipated macaroni and cheese. (Our typical gourmet lunch)
Jackson was going full force until the last few bites and then he just couldn't resist any longer. Fun day!

How fun!! Looks like a day at the pool really pays off if your the parents with such sleepy kids at the end of day. I love it when naptime comes easy! Those pictures are too funny of them falling asleep. They're the cutest!

How funny. Your kids are adorable. Our problem is that the kids would fall asleep in the car for 10 minutes and then not go back to sleep. Whenever we know they are tired we have to make our car like a circus so they won't fall asleep until they are in their beds.

I am jealous it is that warm and get to go swimming! Your kids are so cute - the pictures of them falling asleep are awesome. They must have been really worn out!

I love that they fell asleep like that! My kids are like Melissa's, so that is why we don't go anywhere. I can't handle if naptimes are missed. Very cute post. Jealous of the warm weather!
