I forgot to post this other great conversation between Madison and Jackson. It's been a few days ago but it was definitely blog worthy. The kids had been upstairs playing for quite some time so I went up to check on them in hopes of preventing any huge disasters. As I am approaching the top of the stairs I hear Madison say to Jackson that she wants to check his bum, bum. Puzzled I continue to listen as she repeats this to Jackson. I quickly ask what she is doing, and she replies that she is playing doctor. I then proceed to tell her that we don't do that and innocently she says, "Well that's what daddy does." Then it came to me, I realized that when Ryan let's then play with his stethoscope he has them listen to their heart and asks them if he can hear that their heart says, "Ba...bum!" I am just grateful that Madison is so shy and will never talk to anyone because it is moments like this that I am afraid what she will tell people, especially when it comes to her fathers occupation. :)

Sarah this was too cute! Our kids truly parrot us, I guess it can be embarrassing at times, but they are so innocent.
Thanks for the laugh:)
Oh so funny! That is a good one. I am glad you added it!
How cute is that little Madison? This scenario and the ones below gave me a good laugh. I'm sure you were so relieved when you realized how innocent her wanting to play doctor really was. So cute. And unfortunately, I can relate to feeling like a cow these days and definitely the "when I get smaller" clothes in my closet....
I love it. Keep writing them down - they are definitely worth remembering! I too am always thinking, that was so funny - there is no way I'll forget what he just said.... and the next day it's gone! I swear having kids has fried my brain. :)
That's hilarious! Kids say such funny things!
