Maddie moments...and believe me there have been a few. These are just some of the favorites. The main reason I blog is to keep a journal and scrapbook all in one if you will because I am terrible at doing either. I think I have this amazing memory but Ryan often reminds me that I don't, so I figure I better keep a log of all the cute, crazy, and fun things my kids do somewhere. Time as we all know goes way too fast and has a way of fogging the things we think we can never forget so hears to the latest comments from my little one. (Why am I always part of them?)
* A few months after I had Bryton I was getting dressed to go somewhere and Madison was in the closet trying to help me find the "perfect" outfit. She had suggested a few different things and I think was getting a bit frustrated because my response was always the same.... "can't wear that yet, it won't fit I am still too big." Madison's response, "Well, you don't have a baby in your tummy anymore so maybe it can fit." "Nope I don't think so," I tell her. So we go through this a few more times and Madison finally says, "Mom, if these are all so small maybe you should think of getting smaller." Ya, if only it was that easy!
* So I try to be real discrete when it comes to nursing. Madison has always been real inquisitive and is way beyond her years. (The girl was carrying on full sentences by sixteen months, has an amazing memory, and has always been able to comprehend so much more than we think.) When I had Bryton I was really worried at how I would explain the whole nursing thing. Luckily I have been able to pacify her with just telling her he was eating or sleeping and there wasn't much more asked, until recently. The other day I was feeding the baby and Madison was on the other couch watching T.V. she casually asks what I am doing and I tell her I am feeding the baby. She then proceeds to ask what he is eating so I tell her it's milk and remind her that babies can only drink milk (she is such a big helper that I have this fear she may try to feed him other things.)Without further questioning she continues watching her show. She then turns to me and says, "Mom we drink milk." Your right. "We get our milk from cows." Yup. "Oh I get it she says...so sometimes your a mommy and sometimes your a cow!" ....Thank you Madison!
As you can imagine, I am starting to get a complex! :)

Too funny.....I love that girl! No complex, Sara, remember, your "too small" clothes are probably a size 0 and are too small for nearly every other women on the planet too! :)
Oh that is so funny! I love the things kids say! And it is sad, but sometimes I did feel like a cow when I was nursing...
And I LOVE her pictures. That first one is so so cute.
And I agree with Bethany. Your "fat" clothes are probably the size of my "skinny" clothes that I STILL don't fit into.
Those are so funny! She is such a cute little girl. And I third the skinny clothes comments. You are seriously a twig already!
