Bryton Updates...

In the chaos of the last month Bryton had his 9 month check up and seems to be doing well. We thought he might have a peanut allergy as he was so innocently given a taste of it off of Jacksons finger while I was putting clothes away in the other room. I came around the corner just in time to hear Jackson scolding him for biting his finger. I didn't think much of it until I noticed the whites of Bryton's eyes turning pink, immediately followed by horrible hives. Luckily I was able to get a hold of Ryan to figure out the dose of benadryl I could give him. Things subsided rather quickly but I am terrified to ever give him peanut butter again. However, they did some blood work on him and we just found out that he is not allergic to peanuts...so we are relieved. (But I still think I'll hold off on anything with peanuts in it for awhile.) Good thing he still like baby food. Well, the stats from his visit were:

Height: 27 1/2 inches = 25%
Weight: 16 lbs. 10.5 oz. = <3%

*head circumference less than 25% wow...I knew his head was smaller than the other kids but they have never given me a percentage so I was shocked with this number*

Bryton is still such a joy, he is the happiest baby ever even despite a few health issues over his little life the boy couldn't be a better baby. Here he is showing off a few of the things he has learned over the past few months...

Still likes his bouncer for the most part, he not only likes to jump but he loves to swing back and forth in it.

Look who is sitting up...he isn't a pro but he is getting better. He actually started doing this closer to 10 months but he has been army crawling for some time now. He also loves to wave and it is the cutest thing ever.

He hasn't mastered this yet but he is certainly getting better. He doesn't love bottles and as a result doesn't get them to frequently but he is a good sport when he has to have it.

The boy loves his toys...only they have to be dumped out all over the place in order to keep his attention. I guess he learned that from his brother and sister. Big mess = more fun?

Still enjoying the company of his siblings! Madison and Jackson really are so good with him and he loves it when they are around to entertain him.

Some things we haven't yet captured on film are his kisses, his laughs (he loves to be tickled) and his vocabulary....consisting of mama, dada, and mmmmm for food, he even said bye a time or two. He loves watching Baby Einstein, reading books, and rocking. The biggest milestone yet I have to admit is that he slept through the night for a week!!! It started the night my family came in town but he hasn't done it since....I think we need them back :)

He is such an adorable baby! I can't believe he is already talking ~ he seemed so little when I saw him at Christmas!

I am going home 9/3-9/9 so you will have to let me know if you will be in town.

Okay, that first picture of Bryton is my favorite of all time! I so wish I could reach through my computer and kiss those cheeks! I could seriously eat him up. I can't believe how big he has gotten! So cute, so cute, so cute. I hope that he is feeling better and no more crazy 104 fevers.......love you!

Look at that white hair! I love it! He has changed so much, still cute as ever though! Thats awesome he slept through the night. Him and Mia must have the same habits. Maybe one day we'll be able to catch up on some much needed rest. Perhaps I should stop calling during nap time? (We know that will never happen) :) Give those kiddos a kiss and a squeeze from me. Love you guys!!
