It took a few weeks but I am finally posting about the 4th! (At least it is still July.) The 4th is one of my favorite holidays and so I was way excited to find out that Ryan was off work and my Mom was going to be in town. We spent the day at home making cookies and just hanging out and then we stopped to get a hamburger (at one of the best places here in Texas) on our way to the park. We went back to the same place we did last year and the kids had a ton of fun. There is all kinds of activities and rides for kids....they loved it! After we got a few snacks and settled in to watch the fireworks. To my surprise Jackson was the only one that was a bit scared of the whole thing...but it didn't last long. The show wasn't as great as I remembered but the whole night was a lot of fun. Thanks Mom for staying for the holiday and helping out so much with the kids!

Like I've said before we love company and it was SO nice to have my Mom here for a few weeks. We had so much fun with her and just tried to cherish every minute because it goes all too quickly. Thanks Mom for everything...you always do way too much! Thanks for being such a trooper and for helping take the kids out and for watching them for me so I could get in Doctor and Dental appointments. We miss you so much and can't wait to see you again!
Also, thanks Dad for letting her come for so long. We wish you could have come too...next time! :) Love you guys!

Ok, so isn't Mom getting older? Why is it that everytime I see a picture of her she looks younger!? I hope I get her genes. You guys all look so good! One word for Jackson and the ladies underwear; hilarious!! I'm glad you got some vistiors; I'm jealous. Wish we could have been there as well. Maybe soon though, right? Love all your pictures.
