For play group this week we headed down to the local fire station. The kids had a great time...once the fire engine arrived that is. They weren't to keen on touring the facilities and when we got there both engines were out on calls so it took a bit of coaxing to keep them interested but once the engine came I couldn't keep Jackson away. Here is a few fun pics. future fire fighters....who knows?
HELP!! I have just been put in charge of play days for the next little while and need some help....so if any of you have any suggestions on what to do send them my way. I know I am in Texas and most of you are in Utah but if you know of any fun indoor things to do during winter maybe I can find a comparable substitute around here. Thanks!

I love the one with you and your kids. And I will start thinking of ideas. i need help in that department as well.
What a fun experience for your kids!
SO cute! Mikey would be proud ;)
Super cute pics! I love the one of Bryton in the fire hat. I don't know how you always get out to do such fun stuff with your kids by yourself. I have a hard time just taking Mia out! You're amazing!
Play dates? How old are the kids you're watching? Try a bag of mini marshmallows and some thin pretzel sticks. Let the kids stick the pretzels into the marshmallows and make things. Then, when they are done, they can eat what they made. M&M's go good with the marshmallows and pretzels although they don't make for good "building materials"!
