Bryton sustained his first traumatic black eye. I was making dinner and he ran right into the casing of our pantry door. I heard him cry but thought he was having a tantrum as they have started to happen once in awhile :) I had my back to him and when I realized what had happened I felt awful. Of course Ryan was at the hospital for a 24hr. shift and Bryton was bleeding everywhere. It actually took forever to get the bleeding stopped so I could access the damage. I didn't think he needed stiches but I knew it was going to be bad. The next morning when I got him out of bed his poor eye was swollen shut. Here is the wound a few days later...
Jackson gave his first scripture in Primary and Madison had the talk. It was way too sunny for pics. I guess and so this is the best I was going to get. They did a great job, Madison is still a bit shy but loves going to Primary but Jackson on the other hand has not warmed up to the whole Sunbeam thing...he hates it. He'll go if Ryan or I stay with him but that isn't always possible due to our callings and Ryan's work schedule so most Sundays he and Bryton hang out with me, at least we are in the Primary Room right?
The first day Madison hasn't been upset about going to preschool. To many this would not be that big of deal but to us it is HUGE! She has gone for the past four weeks without any tears!!! This is totally a day we wanted to celebrate and remember!
Jackson has decided he likes his faux hawk...at least on most days.

Bryton's poor little eye! Glad he's okay. :)
Glad to hear Parker isn't the only Sunbeam who doesn't always willingly go to class...he would rather go play with the toys in Emmie's nursery class for sure!
Madison is such a cutie (well all of your kids are!). I love that picture of her... she is looking so grown up.
Hey if you followed the Staker's blog at all, they are going to be on the Today Show tomorrow a.m. (March 12) if you are interested in tuning in! I just caught word of this on their blog and wanted to pass on the news...I think it will be really neat to see as they realize what a great missionary tool this will be! :)
Oh that black eye is so sad. Poor little guy has been through a lot (YOU too)!
Hooray for the primary talks and preschool victories! That is so wonderful.
I know it's been forever since we've seen you guys, but I have to say that I seriously didn't recognize Madison in that picture of her. She has grown up so much! What a beautiful little girl.
