This is obviously a month overdue as we are now experiencing temperatures in the 70's (at times). But I just have to document that we did get snow....yes here in Dallas/Fort Worth area. Not only did it snow but it stuck around for a day or too. It's crazy because everything shuts down when it snows, school was cancelled, a lot of businesses closed, and Ryan was one of only a few who showed up at the hospital as a result only 4 of the many...like 16 OR's could function. We had no where to go so we loved every minute of it. We have no snow clothes so we had to improvise with socks in place of gloves and multiple layers. It was fun to watch people shoveling or trying to shovel their driveways with brooms and even dust pans! Eventually it all melted but it was fun to have another taste of real winter, but I must say we are SO ready for Spring!
Notice I am taking the pics. from inside. I only lasted a few minutes out there and I am the one that grew up in Utah. Bryton loved it as much as the other two but the snow was too deep and he kept falling face first so I made him come in.
He wasn't happy about coming in so I helped ease the transition with a little snow bribe. It's clean...right?
