April showers brought us.....visitors! I have said it a million times but we love company. Ryan's parents were nice enough to make the two day trip down to visit as well as to haul down our Christmas leftovers. Although we aren't much of entertainers we had a great time just hanging out and enjoying having some family close. Ryan was at work a lot so we even talked them into extending their stay a few days so they could have more time with him. Like usual the time passed too quickly and the goodbyes were super sad but hopefully we will be home in July! :) Thanks again for all you guys do for us we sure love and miss you.
Some of our fun adventures included:
Another birthday celebration for Madison...thanks again for the easel she loves it and no major incidents to report as of yet! :)
A fun Easter egg hunt since they missed the one with the cousins.
Reading books...in the wee hours of the morning while everyone else was still sleeping.
Visiting Cabella's to pick up sleeping bags....Ryan got them for $12 a piece and they were regularly $80....good thing it was such a bargain since it took us 45minutes to get there!
The kids had their last few soccer games while Grandma and Grandpa were here. Jackson was the star starting off the season he loved every second of it and Madison was a little sluggish but as soon as she had an audience things changed. With Grandma and Grandpa here the girl was on fire....she scored six or seven goals a game. Jackson was a bit upset because he was use to having the ball and he couldn't get it away from her. They both had another great season and I think with the way things ended we will all be playing again in the Spring.
