Well checks

It seems like it has been forever since I posted. It probably hasn't been that long but a lot has happened over the last few weeks, a lot for us that is. :) Before I forget though Madison and Bryton had their well checks awhile back. We had a few concerns with Madison but after her appointment we feel a lot better about things and strangely enough since her visit she has been doing great. Hopefully she continues to improve we did however discover that her eye sight isn't that great. You would think that I would pick up on something like that but I had no idea. At first I just thought she was being shy and wouldn't cooperate but Ryan even pulled out his chart at home and we had the same results. Looks like she will be sporting some stylish glasses in Kindergarten. Bryton on the other hand we thought was doing great but his heel stick hemoglobin came back low so off to the lab we went for further testing. The advantage to always being behind on blogging is that we have his lab results back and things looked fine so they will just keep watching it. But the poor kid was not happy about being poked yet again. We do have much to be grateful for. It is always nice to have concerns addressed and worries eased, it makes me all the more conscientious of the blessing it is to have three healthy kids.

Madison 5 yr.

Weight: 35 lbs. 20%
Height: 39 inches. 25%

Madison at 5 has learned how to tie her shoes, is reading, can write all her letters and spell most anything by sounding it out. She loves to draw and is enjoying her new roller skates. She loves learning and has made so much progress the last few months she is loving preschool....now that it is almost over :) She thinks she is excited for Kindergarten but I am not so sure. I think emotionally we will both struggle with that one for awhile, but thank goodness we still have the summer.

Bryton 18 mos.

Weight: 22 lbs. 6 oz. 10%
Height: 31.5 inches 30%

Bryton at 18 mos. is FULL of energy. I thought for awhile that he would be the mellow one of the bunch but I was so wrong. He keeps up with and at times surpasses what Madison and Jackson do, he loves being with them. He says any and everything and talks so clear. Some of our favs. are Uh huh and Uh uh instead of yes and no, thank you which is his respond anytime anyone is asked, "what do you say" I do...any time he is asked who wants something, the kids get a good laugh when I ask who wants a spanking and Bryton raises his hand and says, "I do." He is little Mr. independant he feeds himself, attempts to dress himself, rides (scoots on) his bike along side the other kids, and climbs on and up to anything. As busy as he keeps me...I love this age!

Your kids are getting 'big.' They grow about as fast as mine do...

Madison will look so cute with little glasses! Are you going home anytime soon? I think we are going to go back in September (maybe the 1st-7th) for my birthday. Let me know if you have any plans to go back soon!
