Is biter even a word? The other day Madison and Jackson were being a bit rowdy but having a lot of fun together in the other room. I was with Bryton and thought Ryan was supervising the chaos. Several times I heard Ryan tell them to settle down before someone gets hurt. Of course they were having too much fun to listen (or maybe they just tune us out) and there innocent play ended in disaster. I came in to the room to witness a bloody mess, as most head wounds tend to bleed a lot. At first we couldn't find the source of the bleeding but somehow Jackson managed to have fallen, (with a little help) into our window frame. The poor little kid did a number on his teeth and gums. His whole mouth inside was a huge bruise, his front tooth was loose, and he knocked one tooth forward and the other back. Right away it looked like he had a botched botox job from all the swelling around his nose and mouth. The worst part of all is that since they are baby teeth there is nothing we can do with them. I am still hoping that the won't darken from damage they sustained to the roots. He managed to hit so hard that he left two little teeth prints in our window seal and had white paint on his lips! But even this didn't slow him down for long. Seriously, this kid doesn't stop, it is amazing that this is the first real trauma this kid has experienced.
This picture really doesn't do the wound justice...it was taken a few days after the fact as a memoir to the traumatic occasion.
You can kinda see remnants of the bruising and the front tooth on the right is no longer parallel to the other teeth.

Holy cow! I can't believe there were teeth marks in the window seal! Poor kid! It is amazing how fast kids recover from things like this!
I love the cape by the way!
Oh wow! That must have HURT! I can't believe kids sometimes. I am a total wimp when it comes to blood so I really dread the day when we have a bleeding injury at our house!
OH MY WORD! That's awful! The poor little guy. Seriously, little boys just don't stop, do they? I am just dreading the day Parker has a big accident... he is so go-go-go and I know it has to be inevitable that he gets really hurt. I just wish I could have a small shot of his energy to keep up with him! I hope Jackson's teeth pan out okay.
Poor thing ~ that is awful! But, I am sure he is already back to his old self. He is still looks adorable as ever!
Ow! Ow! Ow! You know, when Patrick was little he fell off the stage at our ward and he knocked out his tooth. Supposedly it was a bloody mess! Now he has a fabulous fake tooth. :) That little bruise just looks like it hurts! Love that cape! Colton had one like that with Superman on the other side when he was little. He never took it off!
Sara! So sorry to hear about little Jacks. Give him a big hug from us. Hope he feels better soon. Love you!
Poor little guy! Leah did something similar when she was 18 months, and her tooth didn't fall out but it killed the nerve. Now she has a gray front tooth to show for it. Not fun!
